BBC Sport: Hidilyn Diaz
My debut on the BBC Sport website couldn't have been about anything other than a groundbreaking woman. Hidilyn Diaz went from public enemy to national hero when she was falsely accused of plotting against controversial Philippine president Rodrigo Duterte. She then silenced critics when she brought home Olympic gold years later. I had the honour of interviewing her via Zoom and telling her story for BBC Sport Insight.
